Local residents started St Peters Netball Club in 1969. In 1975 Lapstone Glenbrook Netball Club (LGNC) was formed from Lapstone Primary School based teams and the St Peters Netball Club. The emphasis of LGNC is for our players to enjoy taking part in a team sport whilst at the same time developing netball skills to their full potential.

We like to think of ourselves as the friendly Club and go out of our way to see that players have a positive experience playing netball. Players from any area are welcome to join the Club. LGNC mainly draws our players from the Glenbrook and Lapstone areas, particularly Glenbrook Public School, Lapstone Public School and Blaxland High School.

Registration takes place on the last weekend in January or the first weekend in February. A one-off fee is payable, which covers the entire season with no ongoing payments. Details are published in the BM Gazette.
Netball is played on Saturdays from March to August at the Lapstone Netball Courts, Tunnel Gully Reserve, Explorers Road, Lapstone. Training for LGNC teams is generally on a Wednesday night, however this can be altered to suit individual teams. Women, men, boys and girls over 13 can play in a twilight netball competition from October to December.
Just speak to someone from the Club or come to one of our meetings to find out how friendly and approachable we can be.
